This week sees the first part of our UK road trip. Flying to London, renting a car, driving to Brighton. Two days in each place, taking in interesting things underway, both sights, food and shopping. Onwards to Bristol and Bath, via Shepton Mallet (worth a visit if you like Mulberry). Nice to see some original work by Banksy in his home town of Bristol!
So far so good!
Another sunny and hot day on the UK tour! Ancient cathedral spires reach for a Bristol sky. Super-happy girlfriend exits Mulberry factory shop. All Saints display hundreds of vintage sewing machines in their shop windows. Makes me happy and sad at the same time! #dadstyle #bristol #mulberry #streetart @elli2u
The traditional red phoneboxes are quite rare these days, so it was nice to find one in the village, even though it was filthy, crusty and ripe smelling. You know you're in Britain when you look down and read Armitage Shanks. What a superb conjunction of names. Queen Victoria, the displeased. And vintage padlock in a cathedral. Beautiful piece. #dadstyle #uktour
